A royal portrait is subverted with a single, dissonant gesture: a cigarette hanging from the Queen’s lips. The sacred aura of monarchy collides with everyday irreverence, transforming an untouchable icon into a figure of human fragility and playful rebellion.

“Queer” disrupts the codes of power and respectability, queering the image of authority itself. What was meant to symbolize order, tradition, and permanence becomes ambiguous, ironic, and strangely intimate. The crown shines, but the smoke unsettles — an invitation to look beyond appearances.
